Job Description

The Operations Support Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure the hotel runs smoothly. The role focuses on completing and following up on departmental checklists, assisting with administration, interacting with guests, and monitoring staff compliance with operational procedures. The position reports directly to management and does not carry disciplinary authority.Key Responsibilities:Perform general administrative duties including filing, data capture, and record keepingAssist with daily operational reports and basic documentationMaintain checklists, logs, and internal records as required by managementSupport front office and operational administration when neededDepartmental Checklists & MonitoringPhysically check departments to confirm tasks are done according to standardsRecord and report any non-compliance, issues, or irregularities to managementStaff Monitoring & SupportReport late arrivals, absenteeism, misconduct, or operational concerns to managementProvide guidance to staff on procedures.Assist with Guest InteractionRequirements:Basic computer literacy (email, documents, spreadsheets)Good communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresWillingness to work weekends and public holidays as required.
