About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative – Cranes to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business through telesales, cold calling, and client visits, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through telesales, cold calling, and client visits
- Develop and maintain strong negotiation and closing skills
- Read and understand technical drawings to compile quotes and proposals
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy in all tasks
- Provide professional communication and client liaison services
- Meet weekly activity targets and monthly sales targets
- Self-motivate with the drive to grow market share
- Adhere to company processes, standards, and policies
Requirements
- Diploma or currently studying towards a diploma in a relevant field
- Proven ability to generate new business through telesales, cold calling, and client visits
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience compiling quotes and proposals
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Professional communication and client liaison skills
