About the Role
The Treasury & Cashbook Officer plays a crucial role in managing daily banking operations, ensuring accurate recording of all bank transactions across multiple companies, and supporting liquidity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture daily bank transactions into the accounting system
- Maintain accurate cashbooks for all company bank accounts
- Process intercompany transfers between entities
- Payments Administration: Upload approved payment batches to banking platforms
- Maintain payment records and supporting documentation
- Ensure payments follow the company approval process
- Reconciliations: Perform weekly bank reconciliations, reconcile company credit cards and fleet cards
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items
- Cash Monitoring: Prepare daily cash position reports
- Assist with short-term cash flow tracking
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years banking or cashbook experience
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Experience working with accounting systems
