Job Description
A well-established metal and engineering specialist serving the industrial sector, is currently seeking an HR Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities
-
Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

Administer payroll using Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.
-
Coordinate MIBFA (Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators) and MEIBC (Metal & Engineering Industries Bargaining Council) compliance and benefits administration.

Support employee relations, performance management, leave and absence tracking, and general HR administration.
-
Facilitate psychometric assessments as part of candidate screening and employee development.

Maintain accurate HR records and generate relevant reports.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of solid generalist HR experience.

Prior experience within the metal or engineering industry is essential.

Experience with MIBFA and MEIBC benefits and bargaining council processes essential.

Proficiency with Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.

Comfortable facilitating and interpreting psychometric assessments.
