About the Role
The Junior Draughtsman position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a junior draughtsman in Kempton Park, utilizing MECAD software to support the design and drafting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Use MECAD to create and compile precise charts and/or scale drawings for measurements, specifications, sketches, and specifications.
- From drawings, specifications, and standard layouts supplied by Clients, consultants, and/or departmental contacts, prepare electronic layouts, charts, detailed scale drawings, and material and equipment needs.
- Give technical advice and direction regarding the acquisition and application of MECAD, as well as the interpretation and execution of specifications and requirements.
- Determine measurements, materials, curvatures, angles, and tolerances.
- Maintain MECAD standards while creating a thorough list of construction papers.
- Proficiency in design and readiness to finish precise work plans, charts, scale drawings, and modifications for intricate projects.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience with MECAD software
- Qualification in drafting or related field (preferred)
