About the Role
A highly respected player in the built environment is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead technical delivery on large-scale infrastructure projects. If you’re passionate about engineering excellence, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement, this could be your next major career step.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical oversight and leadership across design and construction phases
- Sign off on engineering designs and drawings as a responsible engineer
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development and training
- Lead feasibility studies, master planning, and scope development
- Prepare and/or manage designs, reports, specifications, and tender documents
- Represent the business in client engagements and relevant industry bodies
- Ensure adherence to QA systems, HSE regulations, and engineering standards
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction progress
- Drive collaboration with clients, consultants, and construction partners
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.Eng / B.Sc. Eng)
Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
10+ years experience in engineering consulting or construction supervision
Strong command of industry codes, contractual frameworks (FIDIC, GCC, NEC, JBCC), and quality systems
Qualifications
Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Eng / B.Sc. Eng)
