About the Role

As an Applications Engineer at Multotec Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ needs while driving business growth through technical expertise, customer service, and sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration: Ensure all expenditure submissions, reports, and checklists are completed accurately and within required deadlines. Maintain effective administrative processes that support operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to client requests while providing technical support, training, and operational guidance. Identify improvement opportunities and resolve non-compliance issues to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment performance.
  • Marketing: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and support business growth. Deliver client presentations and promote solutions using relevant marketing and point-of-sale materials.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and all safety procedures in line with company and legislative requirements. Support the development and maintenance of operating and maintenance documentation.
  • Sales: Support the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through client engagement and accurate reporting. Assist with quotations, tenders, and equipment data validation to strengthen business opportunities.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to Process Engineers and colleagues. Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration to strengthen team capability.
  • Test work: Collaborate with R&D to conduct technical test work and evaluate results. Review and interpret reports to support product development and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mineral Processing/Mechanical Engineering
  • Sales and Marketing qualification (advantageous)
