About the Role
Aleon Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Human Resource professional to join our HR and Packhouse team. As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in implementing our human resource strategy and providing efficient and effective HR service delivery to employees and managers within the Packhouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Documenting operational processes and maintaining employee records in line with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Implementing the recruitment process from job advertising, interview guidelines, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
- Administration of employment and housing contracts.
- Liaising with the Department of Labour and other platforms for recruitment and where needed.
- Implementation of the performance appraisal process and systems within division.
- Ensuring all employees have been evaluated in line with their position profiles and all records are uploaded on the HR Information Systems.
- Implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures to all employees.
- Collecting, analyzing, and compiling Employment Equity Statistics for Employment Equity Reporting.
- Preparing and leading HR legislative and compliance audits.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Reporting of compliance and ethical issues.
- Implementing strategies to enhance employee morale, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Managing and organizing staff wellness and employee events.
- Coordinating the CSR and CSI projects.
- Coordinating mobile clinics for employees.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR Officer / HR Generalist role or similar, preferably within the fruit packing industry.
Qualifications
- National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
