About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of the Parts Department, meeting manufacturer and dealership targets, and maintaining strict control over inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
- Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
- Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
- Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.
- Manage Team for High Performance Culture.
- Visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets, and shops to sell parts and accessories.
- Ensure all exchange items are returned.
- Ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
- Care for company property and ensure economic use of company resources.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum of 1 year managerial experience
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ parts experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Clear criminal record
- Computer Literate
