About the Role

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced ELECTRONICS & ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN for a well-established, large national concern position based in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and electrical fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair drives and drive components
  • Maintenance and repairs to all equipment
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Industrial safety
  • Sound knowledge of Siemens and Lenze PLCs and VSDs
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

Requirements

  • Trade Certified in the relevant electrical or electronic fields
  • N6 or T4 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Valid Code 08 drivers license
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet)
  • Intermediate level on MS Excel and Word

Qualifications

  • Siemens Drives and PLC courses will be an advantage
  • Experience in paperbag making and printing would be advantageous
