About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at our 4-star lodge in Mbombela. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for handling reservations, check-ins, and queries while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out and room allocations
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Respond to guest queries and requests in a timely manner
- Process payments and handle cash floats
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Provide information on local attractions and activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Cover shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings
Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Basic knowledge of property management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Basic understanding of hospitality and farm operations (a plus)

No formal education or qualifications are required for this role.
Salary & Benefits
The annual total cost of employment (CTC) is R51 000 – R75 600.
