About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team in Menlyn, responsible for developing and maintaining the Central Ordering applications. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with advanced Java Spring Boot skills and experience working with Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Central Ordering applications within a DevOps team
- Deliver high-quality solutions independently and on time
- Provide production support, including standby (after-hours, weekends, public holidays on rotation)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to user story refinement and sizing
- Engage with business users to understand requirements and propose solutions
- Ensure code quality through compliance, unit testing, and best practices
- Identify and resolve risks/impediments proactively
- Present solutions to Product Owners and maintain technical documentation (ISO standards)
- Collaborate and share knowledge across teams
Requirements
- Advanced Java Spring Boot development experience
- Experience with Angular & Node.js (TypeScript & JavaScript)
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle / PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Git & GitHub (CI/CD pipelines)
- Knowledge of Kafka & JMS (MQ)
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure experience
Qualifications
- IT Degree / Diploma or equivalent experience
- 35 years Java (Spring Boot) development experience
