Job Title: Forklift technician Area : Johannesburg Salary type Monthly + BenefitsForklift Site technician Electrical & DieselClosing date for application: 7 Nov 2025Role Purpose:To be part of a successful workshop or field service team that services, maintains and repairs contract or customer equipment to the highest levels of workmanship & quality and provides service excellence to all internal and external customers. To ensure that servicing and repair costs are kept to the minimum and that customers are constantly delighted with the levels of service and machine uptime.What we require from the successful candidate: Previous electrical & diesel forklift experience required Both workshop and field service experience Will be required to work overtime when necessary Proficient in fault finding (Attention to detail) Knowledge on hydraulic systems To handle all technical problems that arise in the field and resolve timeously To submit completed time sheets, job cards and daily travel logs Plan and perform preventive maintenance on equipment Maintain records of preventative maintenance and repairs Organize tasks, priorities and areas of action Communicate effectively in verbal and written communication Ensure all parts received and return of parts not used from the parts department, all relevant documentation is signed.Very important – Contactable references will be a requirement Provident fund Medical cover Funeral cover Life cover
