Middelburg: Electrician

Key Performance Areas Guides, trains and coordinates the functions of the General Worker Maintenance daily in line with the Work instructions. Implements Electrical Asset care plans, (Planned Maintenance) to continually improve the plant, grounds and building conditions and ensure plant availability to production daily. Conduct electrical and PLC fault finding when and if necessary Maintaining and implementing of quality & Safety standards Ensure that when working on machinery, all work is performed under lock-out conditions. Always ensure that the plant is running productively as far as maintenance are concerned. Requirements Matric (Grade 12 Certificate) Trade test – Electrician Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license Possess strong mechanical and electrical abilities Experience 3 5 Years experience in a similar position Experience in Automation, conveyors Must have knowledge and experience in PLC Controls Excellent understanding of Safety rules in the manufacturing environment Must be familiar with Electrical laws
