About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Group Manager: Total Rewards and Benefits to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the total rewards and benefits package for a mining industry client, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design, implementation, and administration of remuneration, incentives, and benefits schemes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including BCEA, Income Tax Act, COIDA, UIF, WCA, and Pension Fund Act
- Administer long-term and short-term incentive schemes
- Provide expertise on medical schemes and their application
- Manage executive remuneration, rewards, and related aspects
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of total rewards and benefits services
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor or BCom degree in Human Resources Management / Equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification an added advantage
- 10 years working experience in Payroll; Remuneration and Benefits environment
- 5 years working experience in the Mining or Chemical related industry
- 5 years management experience
- Strong computer literacy, with a credible ERP system
- Experience and knowledge of BCEA, Income Tax Act, COIDA, UIF, WCA, Pension Fund Act, and Medical Schemes Act
