Midrand: Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving market research, product lifecycle management, and business case development , while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure long-term success. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Essential) MBA or Postgraduate qualification (Advantageous) 510 years total experience, with at least 23 years as a Sales Manager and subsequent experience in Product Management Exposure to Sub-Saharan African markets is highly advantageous Key Responsibilities Develop and execute product strategies tailored for Sub-Saharan markets Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and regional opportunities Formulate and present business cases to senior stakeholders for product investment decisions Define and implement pricing and positioning strategies to optimise market competitiveness Manage the full product lifecycle , from ideation to market launch and ongoing improvements Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D) to align strategies and deliver results Provide insights and reporting on product performance, profitability, and growth opportunities ERP & Systems Exposure Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, or similar) would be advantageous Traits & Competencies Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans Commercial acumen with excellent understanding of pricing and market dynamics Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership Collaborative and cross-functional team player with strong influencing ability Adaptable, innovative, and results-oriented, thriving in dynamic, multi-market environments Why Join Us?
