About the Role
A Company is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper with prior experience in the property/real estate sector to support day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing creditors and debtors (rent rolls, levies, utilities)
- Capturing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Bank, trust, and tenant account reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly financial reports
- Processing rental income and owner statements
- Managing supplier and tenant queries
- Supporting audits and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records in property management systems
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Junior Bookkeeper in the property/real estate industry
- Basic accounting qualification (Bookkeeping / Finance Certificate)
- Experience with property accounting software (e.g. MDA, Pastel, PropWorx, MRI – advantage)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
