About the Role
We are seeking an SEO Specialist to join our team in Midrand, South Africa. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving the online presence of our client’s websites, increasing web traffic and organic search growth. Key Responsibilities
- Website performance optimisation and technical SEO.
- SEO optimisation and implementation of SEO best practice on marketing websites.
- Extensive keyword research, analysis, and testing of keyword performance across multiple channels.
- Monitoring and reporting of key SEO metrics, including keyword rankings, organic search traffic, and overall SEO performance.
- Managing Google Business Profile listings.
- Using Google Analytics to set goals and measure page traffic.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Debugging and troubleshooting technical problems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in SEO and Digital Marketing.
- Google Analytics certification (GA4 preferably).
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Communication, Business, or similar is advantageous.
- 3-5 years of experience as an SEO Specialist.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO principles.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar.
- Experience in GEO is an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of search engine algorithms.
- Ability to write, manage, and execute a SEO strategy.
- Strong strategy and reporting skills.
Salary & Benefits
R40,000 – R50,000 per annum
