About the Role
As an Assistant Fast Food Manager at Net. Talent in Mosselbaai, you will play a crucial role in managing our restaurant according to our established Policies and Procedures. Your primary focus will be on maximizing sales and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will also be responsible for developing and training staff, as well as implementing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the restaurant in accordance with Restaurants Policies and Procedures
- Maximize restaurant sales and profitability through effective labor deployment, asset utilization, and cost control
- Maintain excellence in the execution of all duties
- Focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Develop and train staff, providing positive reinforcement and recognizing superior performance
- Monitor food, packaging, and labor costs to ensure alignment with established targets
- Ensure correct levels of restaurant resources (labor, products, supplies, tills, equipment) to meet varying business volumes
- Adhere to cash handling and in-restaurant banking procedures at all times
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks to maintain accurate supply levels
- Prepare weekly labor schedules in advance, ensuring proper staffing and labor cost alignment with budget
- Recruit staff without conflict with the Company’s non-discriminatory policy
- Provide comprehensive induction and training for new staff members
- Develop staff through training programs and ensure succession planning for full restaurant management
- Follow Policies and Procedures to minimize employee relations issues
- Coordinate payroll changes, including recruitment and termination documentation, and forward updates to HR Department
- Hold and record monthly staff meetings to discuss various issues affecting the restaurant/team
- Ensure all staff are fully trained in fire procedures, health, safety, and food hygiene practices as well as security and robbery procedures
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly administration accurately
- Maintain accurate operating reports and adhere to HACCP standards
- Demonstrate compliance with Safety, Health, and Hygiene standards per statutory regulations
- Carry out Local Store Marketing activities authorized by the Regional Operations Manager
- Monitor local competitor activity and coordinate in-store promotions
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF 4
- 3 years Fast Food/Restaurant Manager experience (preferably KFC or Pizza Hut)
- Creditworthiness (ITC check) and no criminal record
- Micros / GAAP POS experience
- Only South African citizens will be considered
