About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Fibre Optic Network Planner to join our team in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our infrastructure planning department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing reliable fibre networks across diverse environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and verify as-built data daily using tools like OSP Insight and NMT
  • Identify discrepancies in layouts, labelling, and locations before updating systems
  • Create splice diagrams and route plans to support field teams
  • Design and plan FTTH, FTTB, and FTTX networks
  • Develop scalable network layouts for single dwellings, estates, and multi-tenant buildings
  • Implement efficient solutions using splitters and point-to-point connections
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth network rollouts
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date design documentation

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in fibre network planning
