Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary:
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the electrical design, installation, and commissioning of large-scale projects from conception to completion. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical compliance, managing budgets and timelines, and maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical engineering aspects of multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop, review, and approve electrical designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct site inspections, attend project meetings, and oversee installation and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Support procurement by reviewing and selecting appropriate materials and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report to project stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in electrical project engineering, preferably in construction, healthcare, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV/HV), building services, and current regulations (e.g., BS 7671, IEE Wiring Regulations).
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects.
• Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

he successful candidate will lead and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of high and medium voltage electrical systems across various projects in the utility, industrial, and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of HV (High Voltage) and MV (Medium Voltage) electrical systems (up to 400kV).
• Prepare technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and protection schemes.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
• Review and approve vendor documentation and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.) and local regulations.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of HV/MV systems.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project managers.
• Liaise with clients, utilities, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in HV/MV systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power system design, protection, and control.
• Proficiency in software such as ETAP, DigSILENT PowerFactory, AutoCAD, or similar.
