About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fibre Optic Splicer/Supervisor to join our team in Nelspruit. As a key member of our telecommunications team, you will be responsible for overseeing the splicing and maintenance of fibre optic cables, as well as supervising and coordinating multiple technicians. If you have a strong background in fibre optic splicing and excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Splice and maintain fibre optic cables
  • Supervise and coordinate multiple technicians
  • Perform OTDR and OLTS testing
  • Conduct fibre fault finding and restoration
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years fibre optic splicing experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience essential
  • Strong OTDR and OLTS testing experience
