About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team in White River, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain automation systems
  • Troubleshoot PLC/controller issues
  • Program and test automation systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Perform fault-finding and analytical problem-solving

Requirements

  • Matric BTech / National Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • 3 – 5 Years relevant experience in manufacturing, automation, mining, or heavy industry
  • Strong knowledge of automation and control systems
  • Experience with PLC/controller programming and troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • CAD experience such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software
  • Basic programming knowledge (C++, Python, or similar)
