Key Responsibilities

  • See to the complete guest journey from arrival at the front entrance
  • Park cars
  • Check-in and room guests
  • Assist guests during their stay
  • Prepare guest accounts
  • Assist with payments
  • Assist guests on departure
  • Bid farewell to guests
  • Attend to face-to-face guest queries
  • Take reservations
  • Answer phones
  • Maintain records
  • Create and keep a filing system
  • Help guests check out
  • Accept final payment for room accounts

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate with a Hospitality-related Tertiary Qualification
  • Experience as a Front Office Receptionist in a 4* establishment
  • Driver’s license
  • Ability to work various shifts and across multiple functions
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Opera
  • Excellent front office operation skills
  • Extensive product knowledge of our hotel and the city
