Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure daily duties are completed to the required standard. Monitor staff attendance, timekeeping, and overall adherence to company policies and procedures. Allocate daily tasks and assist in coordinating workflow to ensure the smooth running of the department. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high levels of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. Evaluate staff performance and provide guidance, support, and on-the-job coaching where needed. Assist the Executive Housekeeper or relevant manager with the day-to-day running of the department. Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure that housekeeping service is delivered efficiently and professionally. Look for ways to improve housekeeping systems, service standards, and operational efficiency. Help resolve housekeeping-related issues, including guest concerns, room discrepancies, or operational challenges. Complete departmental reports and assist in monitoring productivity, staffing levels, and service quality. Participate in staff training and support the ongoing development of the housekeeping team. Be flexible and available to assist after hours when operationally required. Ensure all cleaning equipment and housekeeping supplies are used correctly, stored safely, and reported if damaged or faulty. Assist with staff scheduling, duty rosters, and team supervision when required. Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a strong team culture within the department. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? Basic monthly remuneration of approx. R10, 000.00 NEG. Work cycle / hours: The position operates on a rotating schedule of 6 consecutive working days, with 1 day off in the first week and 2 days off in the second week, repeating on an ongoing basis.
