Safari JOBS is seeking a capable and detail-focused Housekeeping Supervisor for an established premium hospitality property. The successful candidate will join a 5* operation where careful attention behind the scenes plays an important role in the overall guest impression. The ideal individual will bring a professional approach, strong personal standards, and the ability to contribute positively within a team-oriented setting. Clear criminal record; Excellent employment track record references will be verified; English fluency & literacy; Basic computer literacy / understanding; High school diploma or equivalent; Additional qualifications in hospitality management are a bonus; Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry; Strong supervisory skills to oversee and coordinate housekeeping staff effectively; Proficiency in Housekeeping and Laundry management; Excellent customer service skills to address guest requests and ensure satisfaction; Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and addressing guest concerns; Attention to detail and a strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards ??? ???????????????? Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure daily duties are completed to the required standard. Monitor staff attendance, timekeeping, and overall adherence to company policies and procedures. Allocate daily tasks and assist in coordinating workflow to ensure the smooth running of the department. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high levels of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. Evaluate staff performance and provide guidance, support, and on-the-job coaching where needed. Assist the Executive Housekeeper or relevant manager with the day-to-day running of the department. Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure that housekeeping service is delivered efficiently and professionally. Look for ways to improve housekeeping systems, service standards, and operational efficiency. Help resolve housekeeping-related issues, including guest concerns, room discrepancies, or operational challenges. Complete departmental reports and assist in monitoring productivity, staffing levels, and service quality. Participate in staff training and support the ongoing development of the housekeeping team. Be flexible and available to assist after hours when operationally required. Ensure all cleaning equipment and housekeeping supplies are used correctly, stored safely, and reported if damaged or faulty. Assist with staff scheduling, duty rosters, and team supervision when required. Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a strong team culture within the department. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? Basic monthly remuneration of approx. R10, 000.00 NEG. PLUS – 1 meal per day from the staff canteen; Gratuities – pooled & / direct; Provident fund – 100% coverage by the company; Medical insurance – 100% coverage by the company; Uniform and laundry thereof; Complimentary staff shuttle service is provided for shift transport, with pick-up before each shift and drop-off after each shift for staff living within approximately 20 km of the property in surrounding local communities. Work cycle / hours: The position operates on a rotating schedule of 6 consecutive working days, with 1 day off in the first week and 2 days off in the second week, repeating on an ongoing basis. Must be flexible and open to shift / weekend / holiday / evening work / other possible change in line with operational requirements. ??????????? ???????
