Job Summary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a high-end safari lodge is essential
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a lodge management position in a 4/5* property
- Both must have a valid RSA Drivers License & own transport
- Have experience in managing a team
- Must have strong managerial capabilities
- Have a strong eye for detail with regard to all lodge rooms, service & food
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills – verbal and written
- Must think out of the box
- Self-disciplined, and able to work on their own, managing their own time.
- Lively personalities. Keeping the guests entertained and happy.
- Both of you must be mature and responsible
- Positive attitude and approach toward teamwork
- Hands-on approach toward guest experience
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solving
Male candidate requirements:
- Qualified FGASA NQF2 Nature Site Guide & NDT (All guiding qualifications and membership up to date and paid) *NQF4 and Trail qualification are preferable
- First Aid Level 1
- General maintenance knowledge
- Vehicle maintenance and skills
- Be able to host guests
- Fluent in English- verbal and written
Female candidate requirements:
- Must enjoy hosting guests and be very good at it
- Must be very strong in administration
- PAN Knowledge
- Computer Literate- MS Office
- Fluent in English- verbal and written
Live-in. 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
