Core Criteria:
- Relevant trade qualification (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Building, or similar).
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance management, ideally in hospitality, lodges, or remote operations.
- Strong knowledge of generators, solar systems, boreholes, and water reticulation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and maintenance management systems)
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Keep all buildings, staff housing, and reserve facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Oversee repairs and servicing of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Manage water systems, power supply (generators, solar), and sewage systems.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing training and guidance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Control budgets, expenses, and contractor work.
- Respond quickly to emergencies that affect guests or operations.
