Job Description

Act as a key finance partner to the farming business, bridging finance and operations Compile, analyse and interpret monthly management accounts and annual financial statements Facilitate and support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes Perform detailed cost accounting to support operational KPIs and profitability initiatives Develop activity based cost and revenue models to enhance decision making Support and challenge capital expenditure requirements Assist with internal audit processes and strengthening of internal controls Review procurement practices, controls and compliance with best practice Ensure compliance with commercial agreements, including rebates, discounts and payment terms Travel regularly between operational sites Operate effectively in a highly pressurised, seasonal agricultural environment Skills & Experience: Minimum 57 years experience in a management accounting or similar role Agricultural / production based industry experience – preferred Advanced Excel proficiency – essential Proven ability to perform accurately under pressure, particularly during peak season Strong commercial acumen with a hands on, problem solving mindset Confident communicator able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Highly self disciplined, resilient and delivery focused Valid drivers licence and own transport Qualification: BCom Degree – Essential Completed SAIPA / SAICA Articles or PA(SA) / CIMA Contact Joshua Lawrence on
