About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Paarl, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and planned maintenance on plant equipment
- Conduct fault finding and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Minimise downtime and ensure continuous production
- Install, test, and commission new machinery and equipment
- Maintain PLC systems (basic fault finding and diagnostics)
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Trade Test Certificate (Millwright)
- Red Seal preferred
- N3 (Electrical/Mechanical) or higher qualification
