About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager for a distinguished luxury wine estate situated in Franschhoek. This role requires a professional who is highly organised, standards-driven, and confident in supporting the management of a busy housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations
- Ensure all rooms, public areas, and facilities meet exceptional cleanliness standards
- Train, supervise, and guide housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
- Manage stock levels, linen control, and ordering of cleaning supplies
- Support scheduling and staff planning
- Uphold health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Assist with administrative duties and reporting where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within housekeeping
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Professional, well-presented, and service-driven
- Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Franschhoek
