About the Role
Nutec Suppliers & Hardware is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales team in the building materials, hardware, or construction supply industry. The ideal candidate must be confident in managing a high-performance sales environment and have experience driving revenue growth and improving daily sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and oversee daily activities of the sales team
- Set and monitor individual and team sales targets
- Drive revenue growth and improve sales performance
- Monitor quotations, follow-ups, and conversion rates
- Implement structured sales systems and reporting
- Recruit, interview, and select new sales team members when required
- Train, mentor, and develop junior sales staff
- Conduct performance reviews and manage underperformance
- Handle key accounts and bulk clients
- Assist with walk-in and wholesale customers when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years sales management experience
- Experience in hardware / building materials / construction supply (Advantageous)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of quotations, margins, and upselling
- Computer literate (Email, Excel, POS systems)
