About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and friendly Field Guide to join our team in Phalaborwa, helping us establish the guiding department from the ground up. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our staff and contribute to the growth and development of the guiding department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with building the guiding department from scratch
- Provide guidance to guests in Kruger National Park
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid qualification from a reputable training institution
- Physical guide card for the Limpopo area
- Proven experience guiding in Kruger National Park
- CATHSSETA-qualified South African citizenship
- Strong, verifiable references
Qualifications
- FGASA registration (desirable but not required)
Salary & Benefits
- R5 500 – R7 000 per month depending on experience
- Food allowance: R3 500 per month (approximately ±R120/day to use in the restaurant)
