About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic couple to join our team as Field Guides and Lodge Anchors at our esteemed establishment in Philippolis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, managing various aspects of lodge operations, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting guided safaris for international guests, including exclusive and photographic safaris
• Ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience
• Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights
• Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required
• Creating compelling content for social media platforms through still and video photography
• Managing various aspects of lodge operations, including housekeeping and front office departments
• Assisting with events planning and execution
• Maintaining the aesthetic standards of the lodge
• Allocating airport transfers and providing assistance around the lodge as needed

Requirements

• Grade 12
• A formal qualification will be an advantage
• At least 2 years experience in a high-end lodge environment
• Valid RSA Driver’s License (will be an advantage)
• Computer literate
• Exceptional Guest Relations skills
• Ability to manage staff and departments
• Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
• Financial experience in budget control, stock takes, and stock control
• Mature and responsible
• Well spoken, well-groomed, and presentable
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Positive attitude and approach toward teamwork
• Hands on approach towards the guest experience
