Description:
Hire Resolve`s client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Chargehand to join their mining team based in Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities in the mining operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Plan and schedule work assignments for the electrical team.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
• Train and mentor electrical technicians.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies.
• Electrical Trade Test Certificate
• 5 years` experience working in a coal mine.
• Flameproof and Gas Testing Certificate
• Medium Voltage Certificate would be advantageous.
• Experience/Knowledge on the following equipment: EMIS belt Drivers, 6,6KV & 22KV switching, feeder breaker, Shuttle car & Fletcher roof bolters, 12HM31 JNAII, and switch gear.
• Valid driver`s license.
