About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Group Quality Manager to lead and standardise quality practices across multiple manufacturing sites within a fast-paced snacks/chips production environment. As a seasoned Quality professional with a passion for food safety and continuous improvement, you will be responsible for implementing group-wide Quality Assurance & Food Safety strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement group-wide Quality Assurance & Food Safety strategies
- Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO standards, and all regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites
- Oversee internal and external audits, including retailer and certification audits
- Standardise quality systems, policies, and procedures across the group
- Manage product quality, customer complaints, and non-conformance processes
- Lead and mentor site Quality teams to ensure high performance and consistency
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to optimise product quality
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in FMCG food manufacturing (snacks/chips highly advantageous)
- Proven experience in a multi-site or group-level quality role
- Strong working knowledge of:
- HACCP & FSSC 22000
- Food safety legislation and audits
- Quality management systems
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel between sites
