About the Role

Jendmark is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Software Implementation) to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As an Industrial Engineer with a knack for software implementation and factory optimisation, you will work closely with customers to analyse operational processes, implement digital tools, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed site assessments to map current operational processes and identify areas for digitalisation.
  • Assist in configuring, deploying, and testing software solutions according to customer requirements.
  • Work closely with customers to gather functional requirements, conduct process reviews, and present solution proposals.
  • Support customer teams in adopting new systems and processes, providing guidance and best practice recommendations.
  • Deliver user training and develop supporting documentation to ensure smooth operational handovers.
  • Provide ongoing technical and operational support to resolve issues and enhance solution effectiveness.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within customer environments.
  • Maintain clear, concise records of project activities, site assessments, customer interactions, and process changes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to test new functionalities and provide operational feedback.

Requirements

  • Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Project Management certification (advantageous)
  • Languages: English – Read, write and speak (required)
  • Drivers Licence: Code 8 (required)
