About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Quality Manager to join our client’s team based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s full quality and food safety portfolio, implementing and maintaining quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the companys full quality and food safety portfolio
- Plan, implement, and monitor all necessary systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain quality management systems and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Consumer Science
- Knowledge in Laboratory Management Systems is advantageous
- Valid Code 08 drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email/Internet)
- Intermediate level on MS Excel and Word
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving Food Safety and Quality Management Systems
