Job Summary

Leading plastics manufacturing company in Pinetown requires Setters/Technicians with strong experience in the (plastic) blow moulding of large drums (200 litres and up).Monthly remuneration: R18 000 to R22 000 (neg) + shift allowance + incentives + benefits

Requirements:

– Matric / N3 or higher – 3 to 5 years experience as a Setter / Technician in blow moulding of large (200+ litres) plastic drums- Must have done processing and problem solving on machines, as well as tool and mould changes – Experience in maintenance and mechanical type production work – Able to work shifts – Own transport preferred Duties of position: Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85% or more Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% Setting machines according to best practices Managing mould and colour changes on shift Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored Ensuring top quality products are produced Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety Ensuring all relevant H&S and ISO standards are maintained Contact Scott on McKessar Recruitment
