About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Commercial Vehicles dealership in Pinetown. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance of the branch/workshop and on-site workshop, with a focus on achieving sales targets, improving customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the performance of the branch/workshop and any on-site workshop.
  • Achieve agreed workshop sale hours and profit margins.
  • Achieve set Customer Service Metrics (CSM) for service and parts.
  • Establish and meet objectives on workshop operating policies and standards.
  • Manage the company’s assets.
  • Achieve an ongoing increase in new customers and customer retention.
  • Control the branch’s budget, including personnel costs and overheads.
  • Implement The Brand’s standards and procedures in all departments.

Requirements

  • Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
  • Technical qualification or a comparable qualification.
  • Management and leadership skills with emphasis on leading and motivating staff.
  • Good financial knowledge.
  • Computer Literate.
  • High level communication, interpersonal relations, and negotiation skills.
  • Pro-active, highly motivated in achieving set objectives.
  • Working knowledge of warranty, repair, and maintenance contracts. (Note: Possession of technical knowledge of trucks and buses is an added advantage.)
