Our Westmead-based client currently has the above existing vacancy at their Sales and Distribution operation based in Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal and wish to invite suitably qualified candidates to apply. The responsibility of the position will include but not limited to:Liaising with sales consultants and other internal departments on all sales orders;Providing feedback to customers on the progress of their orders;Submitting quotes and acknowledgement of orders to clients; Producing ad hoc sales reports for Sales Consultants and Management;Assisting Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets;Liaising with the warehouse to ensure that deliveries to customers will be made according to schedule;Developing leads for Sales Consultants by contacting dormant clients;Proactively monitoring customer stock levels in order to remind them to order;Keeping detailed information on clients on Excel;General administration for division including back up for colleagues.To qualify for the position, you should have:Matric or equivalent plus 3 years experience in a similar role;Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel is essential;Good organizational, admin and time management skills;Good attitude towards their work;Honesty and initiative;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, goal orientated, energetic and motivated;High levels of accuracy;Ability to work independently and in a team;Ability to handle stress and meet deadlinesCommitted to supporting and working closely with a Sales consultant.
