About the Role

As a Banqueting Co-ordinator in our esteemed establishment, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all banqueting and event functions, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences in line with our standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand event requirements (corporate functions, weddings, conferences, etc.)

• Prepare event proposals, quotations, and contracts

• Coordinate all event logistics including venue setup, décor, catering, and equipment

• Conduct site inspections with clients where required

• Oversee the execution of events from setup to breakdown

• Ensure all departments (kitchen, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) are aligned

• Manage event timelines and ensure smooth flow of service

• Handle last-minute changes or issues professionally

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers

• Act as the main point of contact before, during, and after events

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle complaints effectively

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, or related field

• 24 years experience in banqueting, events coordination, or F&B operations

• Experience in hotels, lodges, or conference venues preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banqueting Coordinator to join our team in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple events concurrently, ensuring seamless execution, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event logistics, including catering, décor, and entertainment
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure event requirements are met
