Job Summary

Job KPIs/Main functions Collation and control of all the cost information from various cost centers for Project costs Update and control Project cost progress and deviations against the approved Budget as per the Site Progress. Handling follow-ups on the Cost control & trends for Project/Site Costs, highlighting and reporting as per organization requirements on deviations & propose mitigations plans for risks. Scope change management i.e. identify and quantity variations, site instructions, scope changes etc. Review and evaluate contractors/suppliers/service providers’ claims and quantify claims/back-charges/contra-charges for non-conformities, delays etc Cost report management i.e report cost, cashflow (in and out) and Financial Position of the Projects Cost codes. Update and control Cost to Completion Forecasts including cost provisions for risks and opportunities. Prepare monthly contractors ‘liabilities schedule/register and assist with provisions of accruals for cash out forecast. Assist in updating risk management templates and initial drafts of contractual notifications to EPC Contractors and Suppliers Assist in contracts management administration and registers/trackers updates for Project POs and Contracts Participation in dispute resolution and litigation dossiers preparations. Site General Spend control and reconciliation (impress system/petty cash) Participation in Site Suppliers evaluation, commercial bid analysis and Procurement (Requests and Payment Certificates) Invoices control and approval management coordination with the PM & Finance Departments. Qualifications and Experience BTech or bachelor’s degree in Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or related disciplines Experience in renewable sector or energy generation. General knowledge of standard forms of contracts, particularly FIDIC 3 – 5 years in cost controlling and contracts administration for EPC Projects Experience is standard Procurement Operating Systems (ERP) e.g. JD Edwards, SAP etc. Claims and change management for EPC Projects. Skills and Competencies Ability to monitor and control project forecasts and costs Communication and negotiation skills Strong data collation, analysis and presentation MS Office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Projects) Strong written and spoken English, as well as cultural diversity awareness. Analytical and problem solving Output and Deliverables driven Team collaborator with strong organizational skills, accountability and decision making Desirable Attributes Attention to detail and open-minded/ flexible to be across all Project aspects including diaries, weekly report, and monthly report support.
