About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to oversee and grow sales within a designated territory in Polokwane, South Africa. The role involves managing existing client relationships, developing new business, achieving sales targets, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a reliable vehicle for client visits.
- Maintain and grow the current customer base through strong relationship management.
- Plan daily and monthly activities, including organizing a structured diary.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Conduct prospecting, customer need analysis, and market surveys.
- Manage price negotiations, contract renewals, and customer upgrades.
- Follow up on customer queries, installations, and after-sales support.
- Prepare commission sheets and maintain accurate sales records.
- Ensure operational compliance, including route optimization and service quality.
- Contribute to staff training, development, and team performance (for senior or area consultant level).
- Monitor KPIs and ensure business operations meet quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) mandatory
- Sales and Marketing Diploma or Management Qualification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales environment (or equivalent for senior/area management roles)
- Valid drivers license (Code B or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and telephonic skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
