THE ROLE: ACCOUNTANT INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS FINANCE

A prominent international logistics company is seeking an Accountant with strong leadership potential and global ambition.

You will support the Senior Finance Team and play a central role in the financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing the full accounting function
• Maintaining trial balance & general ledger
• Journals, reconciliations & balance sheet management
• Monthly and weekly management accounts
• Costing & customer profitability analysis
• Fixed asset register
• Statutory compliance (VAT, tax, WHT) in the Kenyan regulatory environment
• Banking & payments
• FX translations (USD, GBP, EUR, KES)
• Budgets, forecasts & audit preparation
• Assisting with financial statements
• Supporting senior executives with financial analysis and projects

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• B.Com Accounting or equivalent
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
• Minimum 3 years post-article experience (logistics experience is a bonus)
• Strong command of accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
