About the Role

Our client in the Telecommunications industry is seeking an experienced AV Sales Representative to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base across Private & Public sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a tactical sales plan including, Sales Pipeline for Small and Medium sized Enterprises
  • Conduct customer needs analysis and review of existing services/ providers to formulate a Customer Value Proposition
  • Development of customer specific proposals in collaboration with the Company’s Solution Architects
  • Implement tactical sales plan across target markets through Go-To-Market of the Company’s Telco Division’s and Unified Comms Division’s products and services
  • Update sales reports and sell out data
  • Responsible for a sales targets set by Management
  • Maintain existing and new sales certification requirements by suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience with VoIP, Networks and UC Selling
  • Must have technical knowledge and background, as well as sales experience
  • Must have proven experience in AV sales within government sector and/or corporate sector
  • VC knowledge/experience bonus
  • Senior Certificate (essential)
  • Must be presentable – candidate will have to meet with CEO’s, CIO’s and CFO’s of current and prospective clients
  • Communication skills (read, write and speak) very important
  • Must be a “hunter” – able to source new business
  • Continuous skill improvement and self-development
  • Adhere to company processes
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members)
  • Perform well under pressure
