About the Role
Our client in the Telecommunications industry is seeking an experienced AV Sales Representative to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base across Private & Public sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a tactical sales plan including, Sales Pipeline for Small and Medium sized Enterprises
- Conduct customer needs analysis and review of existing services/ providers to formulate a Customer Value Proposition
- Development of customer specific proposals in collaboration with the Company’s Solution Architects
- Implement tactical sales plan across target markets through Go-To-Market of the Company’s Telco Division’s and Unified Comms Division’s products and services
- Update sales reports and sell out data
- Responsible for a sales targets set by Management
- Maintain existing and new sales certification requirements by suppliers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven experience with VoIP, Networks and UC Selling
- Must have technical knowledge and background, as well as sales experience
- Must have proven experience in AV sales within government sector and/or corporate sector
- VC knowledge/experience bonus
- Senior Certificate (essential)
- Must be presentable – candidate will have to meet with CEO’s, CIO’s and CFO’s of current and prospective clients
- Communication skills (read, write and speak) very important
- Must be a “hunter” – able to source new business
- Continuous skill improvement and self-development
- Adhere to company processes
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members)
- Perform well under pressure
