About the Role

The King Price Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. As an Agile Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and with high quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies, communicate evolving requirements, and manage admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the following scrum and agile ceremonies: Refinements, Solution crafting, Demos, Planning, Stand-ups, Catch ups (When required from the Team Lead)
  • Communicate between teams about evolving requirements and planning
  • Manage admin tasks such as conducting meetings, facilitating collaboration, identifying gaps / impacts to other systems/ processes/ Stakeholders, and eliminating unknowns that might affect project progress
  • Define priority, business cases together with business (Format) Alignment with other teams/BAs on upcoming priorities and dependencies
  • Involving and communicating with other parties such UX, Marketing, Legal and Training
  • Documenting of user stories on standard
  • Documenting of acceptance criteria on standard
  • Creating process flows, screen mockups and diagrams for business & IT processes
  • Identifying all touch points in the system that a specific requirement will/could have
  • Obtaining specification sign off from product owner/business owner/
  • Completing test case reviews to ensure we are testing in accordance with the setout acceptance criteria
  • Facilitating the business sign off together with the Test Analyst
  • Building Customer Relationships (Get to know your business & audience)

Requirements

Experience within the short-term insurance industry is beneficial. Prior experience in customer facing Self Service Portals or Digital Apps, including working with integrations and custom-built solutions is required. Relevant degree or diploma is necessary.
