About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Peri Peri Cafe – Sunnyside. With a minimum of 1 year experience as a manager or assistant manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations
- Manage staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods
- Maintain high standards of customer service and food quality
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs
- Implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a manager or assistant manager in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Qualifications
- Certificate in Hospitality Management or Food Services (advantage)
