About the Role

AtripleA recruitment & temps is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all E&I aspects of projects executed by the Projects Department.
Act as Package Engineer for onsite and office-based EPCM projects.
Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFQs and enquiries.
Evaluate and adjudicate tenders; recommend suitable contractors.
Verify that all E&I designs comply with SANS standards company standards and specifications design criteria, document numbering systems, and tag naming conventions
Facilitate design reviews with company engineers.
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality control, and quality assurance throughout the full project lifecycle:
Design
Procurement
Implementation
Punching
Testing & commissioning assistance
Red-lining of IFC drawings
Ensure proper application of company testing and commissioning procedures.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Ensure strong integration of E&I details with civil, process, and mechanical designs.

Requirements

Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
B.Tech / B.Eng (NQF Level 7) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Formal Project Management training beneficial
Minimum of 10 years’ industrial (operational) experience in a mining or plant environment
At least 6 years in a Project Management capacity

Qualifications

Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
B.Tech / B.Eng (NQF Level 7) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
