About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Toolmaker Lecturer to join our team at PtSA Management Services Pty Ltd in Pinetown. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs to students in subjects related to the tool, die and mould making industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom and workshop teaching – Curriculum subjects as required
• Observe and evaluate student’s work to determine progress, provide feedback and make suggestions for improvement
• Prepare, Plan and Present lectures and conduct discussions to increase student’s knowledge and competence
• Supervise and monitor student’s use of tools and equipment
• Support students and industry during the On-the-Job phase
• Visit and assess student training activities during OJT

Requirements

• Relevant experience in tool, die and mould making industry
• Strong teaching and training skills
• Ability to facilitate practical work in well-equipped workshops
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology)
• Teaching or training experience in a related field
• Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g. Toolmaking, Die Making)
