Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment and selection processes, ensuring adherence to fair practices and compliance. Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring sound relationships between managers and employees. Foster collaboration between HR and business units to drive HR strategy and initiatives. Manage performance management systems and talent management processes, including succession planning and career development. Oversee the implementation of HR projects and change management processes. Actively contribute to HR risk management and compliance activities. Ideal Candidate: Degree or relevant diploma in HR or related field. At least 3 years experience as an HR generalist, ideally within a unionised environment. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Labour Relations Act. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and talent management. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
